CONTINUING STUDENTS
In spring 2025, Academic Advising’s Peer Advisors partnered with faculty advisor to host 36 separate Registration Planning Meetings (RPM) to ensure that our first-year students and newest transfer students had individualized support with fall registration. A similar process occurred in the fall to support with spring registration. These personalized registration planning sessions are effective and our students appreciate the additional guidance from their advisors.
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION:
Are you an Incoming first-year student? Academic Advising has you covered when it comes to getting registered for fall classes. You get to determine your fall schedule based on the courses you select/rank in your Advising Placement Questionnaire (APQ), so please take your time when completing your APQ! On Aug. 25 or 26 of Passages week, you meet with your faculty and peer advisor to review this schedule and make any necessary adjustments. Advisors will check to ensure you are in courses that meet requirements and get you on track with the courses needed for any major or minor you may already be thinking of.
Learn more about the Advising Placement Questionnaire (APQ), including where to find it, how to complete it, and why it is so important in our video on the APQ Basics, created by one of our amazing peer advisors!
