MAY 20, 2020, 3:40 P.M.
To Faculty and Staff
From Isiaah Crawford, President

Please accept my deepest appreciation for everything you have done to serve our students and see us all through a successful conclusion of the academic year and noteworthy spring semester, and transition to the first week of our summer term.

Our budget, operational, and emergency planning groups continue their important work to help us prepare the university for the gradual return to more normal campus operations over the course of the summer so that we can resume in-person course instruction, residential life, student activities and more in the fall while following public health guidelines, protocols and timelines.

Please join me and members of the Cabinet to learn more about the work that is underway in a virtual town hall-style meeting for faculty and staff members on Thursday, May 28, 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. I will provide an update and then open it up to your questions. To access the meeting, please visit pugetsound.edu/covid19internal.

We will continue to have regular updates via email, the website, and town hall meetings throughout the summer to keep everyone informed and to solicit your input as we follow public health guidelines, move through Gov. Inslee’s four-phase plan to resume more normal operations in the state of Washington and chart the university’s course through these challenging times.
