Learning Standards for Teacher Education

The standards below focus learning and teaching experiences throughout the M.A.T. program.

Cultural Competency Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) Standards for Educators

These standards are organized into four domains: 1) Understanding Self and Others, 2) Student, Family, and Community Engagement, Learning Partnerships, and 4) Leading for Educational Equity.

 

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Standards

These standards are organized into two domains: 1) Self (self-awareness, self-management, self-efficacy) and 2) Social (social awareness, social management, social engagement).

 

InTASC Model Core Teaching Standards

These standards are organized into four domains: 1) The Learner and Learning, 2) Content Knowledge, 3) Instructional Practice, and 4) Professional Responsibility.
