Return of the River
feature documentary, 2014
Return of the River explores an unlikely victory for environmental justice and restoration, following a group of committed tribal members and activists who attempt the impossible: to change the public opinion of a town and eventually the nation to bring two dams down.
The Women’s League Box o’ Fun is a cheerful care package filled with thoughtfully chosen treats and small surprises to delight, comfort, and encourage students. Delivered on campus just before Fall Finals, it’s the perfect way to show your support.
Each Box o’ Fun includes something to bring a smile, healthy snacks for fuel, and gadgets to focus the brain. Additionally, every purchase helps fund the Women’s League Scholarship Endowment, so your gift supports students twice over.
Stop the Bleed training is a free course that teaches bystanders to save lives by controlling severe, life-threatening bleeding using techniques like direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application. Initiated by the American College of Surgeons, it aims to empower the public to act in emergencies.
This annual event showcases our graduating seniors' talent and creativity, offering a glimpse into their artistic journeys throughout their time here at the University of Puget Sound.
See the best work from art classes in the last year. The opening night party and awards (with prizes) on Monday, Jan. 26, 5 p.m. is the first view of the show. The Art Students Annual show is a Puget Sound tradition. Students enter work from art classes, and a juror selects artwork for the show, which will be in Kittredge Gallery for four weeks.
This graduate school only event is a chance to relax, have some dinner, enjoy each other's company, and welcome the new semester. The toast will take place at 7:05.
Sculpture and installation work made by students Roy Kersten-Hellikson, Irene Harris-Odum, Sarah Burer, Ruby Moon Hodapp, as part of summer research. The Summer Research Program in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHSS) is designed to encourage and support independent research projects.
