The annual Students of Color Welcome is an opportunity for Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latin(e)/Hispanic, Bi- and Multi-Racial students and those who identify as People of Color to gather with and to welcome incoming students with these shared identities to campus.  We acknowledge the diversity of experiences and identities within this large group while also recognizing the power in building relationships within and across identities, in particular while at a predominantly White institution.  Thus this gathering seeks to be one of the initial touchstones available for students to begin connecting with each other and with faculty and staff of shared identities.
