Staying Spiritually Centered When the World Is Falling Apart - "Words and Silence"
Each week this semester, the University Chaplaincy is hosting a 30-minute-or-less space for students, faculty, and staff to explore a wide range of ways to stay "spiritually centered" (whatever that means) in times of personal or social challenge. Each event’s facilitator will explain the practice, invite those there to try it out, and send folks home with something they can try on their own terms.
Our first event on 9/5 will be led by University Chaplain Dave Wright, and will both introduce the series and explore a practice using a combination of SHORT (one line) readings paired with intentional silences. All are welcome to come, learn, participate, and/or observe!
