The School of Music is pleased to welcome guest artist Joseph Murphy for a saxophone masterclass. Murphy was the saxophone professor at Mansfield University, Pa., from 1987-2022 and was director of bands and department chair.

Murphy received the Bachelor of Music Education from Bowling Green State University and the master’s and doctorate degrees from Northwestern University. He has performed in numerous venues throughout the United States and internationally. Visit his full biography.
