Add to Calendar 2026-02-10 11:00:00 2026-02-10 12:00:00 Grace Youn '13 Master Class #1: Strings, But Make It Pop: A Live Arranging Lab The School of Music is pleased to welcome Grace Youn '13 for a master class series.  Youn is a Los Angeles–based multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer, and songwriter whose remarkable career bridges classical music, rock, pop, and beyond. A Tacoma native, Youn earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance from Puget Sound, later completing advanced degrees at the University of Texas at Austin. Her recent work involves touring internationally as a multi-instrumentalist on Hozier's 2025 world tour, performing in major arenas and headlining festivals worldwide.MASTER CLASS #1 - "Strings, But Make It Pop: A Live Arranging Lab" In this hands-on workshop, we’ll create a pop cover arrangement for strings and get to play the arrangement at the end. Tickets are free and open to the campus community and the general public, but are required for entry. Tickets are available ONLINE or at the Logger Store located in Wheelock Student Center.
