Where are you from?
I grew up in Los Angeles, but for the past few years I’ve called Colorado home.
Do you have a favorite place in Tacoma?
My go-to spot is Old Town Tacoma. It’s right by the water, and has a few great parks and coffee shops.
Name a class at Puget Sound you are interested in, but haven’t taken.
I have always wanted to take Emelie Peine’s Political Economy of Global Food Systems.
What is a book that has been influential for you?
I love The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I never get sick of it!

What do you look for in an application?
I’m really interested in what matters to students and what they value. When we’re reading applications, we are trying to get a sense of who you are, and I love when that comes through.
What TV show are you watching?
I’ve been really into Survivor lately, but my comfort show has got to be Modern Family.
What's your coffee/tea order of choice?
Black tea or an iced vanilla latte
What advice do you have for a prospective student?
My advice is to be completely open to anything that sparks your interest, because you never know what will come of that. Whether you’re choosing a school or declaring your major, trust your gut!
