This SSI1 Seminar examines the present status and the history of the theory of evolution in modern biology. We will learn about the historical context within which evolutionary ideas have developed and develop a better understanding of evolution, natural selection and learn about, evaluate, and apply recent efforts to apply an evolutionary lens to questions that most people assume have nothing to do with evolution.
