Senior Art Award

The Senior Art Award recognizes a graduating studio art major. The winning work is selected by a library panel of staff and students. The student artist receives a cash prize, and the artwork is prominently displayed in Collins Memorial Library for one year. *Due to closure of the library during this pandemic year, the 2020 winner’s installation will be on display for an additional year.

Book Collecting Award

The Collins Memorial Library Book Collecting Contest has been in place since 2010 and is generously funded by the Book Club of Washington. The award recognizes students at Puget Sound who have developed personal libraries throughout their lives and that demonstrate appreciation for the special qualities of printed or illustrated works, and to read, research and preserve these collected works for pleasure and scholarship. Collections can be on any subject and this contest is open to all full time students. The contest is offered every other year.
