I am more than happy to help with accounting/finance related questions and work through any roadblocks together (as I may be learning something new as well)! Questions not related to finance are more than welcome, I will always try to help in the best way I can! Please reach out if any days/times don’t work with you and we can figure something out together.

Hours: Monday (5-7 p.m.), Tuesday (noon-1 p.m.), Wednesday (2-3 p.m.), Thursday (7-9 p.m.)

Abby, 2024 CWL Subject Tutor

Abby

Pronouns: she/her

Heyyy my name is Abby! I am a senior studying biology and environmental policy and decision-making. I grew up a hardcore Oregonian but have grown to love everything Washington has to offer. On campus, you can find me working with our radio station KUPS, in Oppenheimer hanging out or outside looking at moss. Off campus you might see me working at Bluebeard Coffee, playing guitar on my porch, or in Point D flipping logs. After one summer of research I thought the study of ecology was my passion, but this past summer I have explored another realm of research: plant physiology, and I have loved learning in both! Come talk to me about cool critters, any biology class at UPS or any good music you’ve heard recently! I absolutely cannot wait to exchange knowledge with you and learn from each other!

Alex

Pronouns: he/him

Hi! My name is Alex, and I am a junior majoring in biochemistry and mathematics with a minor in computer science. I’m from Beijing, China, where it gets even colder than here in the winter. When I am not doing academics, I like to make and collect swag and knick knacks of many kinds and spend my afternoon on the track. There are so many things in the world waiting for us to explore, but so little time! So why don’t we start from living organisms, like ourselves, and explore the fascinating biochemistry behind that!
