Eliza, CWL tutor

Hello! My name is Eliza & I’m a sophomore studying Religion, Spirituality & Society, African American Studies, and Gender & Queer studies. When I’m not studying you can find me pacing Wyatt, or flexing my hostess skills for my house guests. I am super passionate about all things scholarly, so I’m excited to connect, hear about whatever you are currently working on, & offer my support. :) Kisses!

Nainoa, CWL tutor

I’m Nainoa (he/him), a Junior originally from Chicago. I’m part of the Postmen frisbee team and enjoy photography, rollerblading, and writing in my free time. On the academic side, I’m in the BLP, majoring in psychology, and minoring in chemistry. I love the process and outcome of writing, whether it be short stories, essays, or lab reports. For me, writing is about clarity, knowing what you’re trying to say and how to communicate it to your reader. I am excited to work with you!

Hey there! My name is Campbell (she/her), and I am a Sociology and Anthropology major with minors in Crime, Law, and Justice and Religion. I’m also a Co-Reader here at the CWL! I'm from Denver, CO but I love living in Washington!! When I'm not studying, I love to drink coffee, hike, watch movies, and go to concerts. I'm happy to help brainstorm, edit, or chat through a paper and I can't wait to meet you all, so swing by!

Hi my name is Oliver (he/they) and I am a senior majoring in Philosophy and German Studies. When I am not at the CWL you are likely to find me somewhere around Wyatt usually reading or scrolling TikTok. I am normally fairly involved on campus but I do not know exactly what I’ll be doing this year as I just got back from studying abroad in Munich for a year, which I am always happy to talk about if you are interested. I hope you come by the Center whether it is to work on a paper, project, or just using it as a chill place to study.

Hi there! My name is Erin (she/her), and I am a German Studies major, with minors in Studio Art and Education Studies. I have also taken PG and IPE classes. On campus, I am an editor for The Trail, the vice president of the Jewish Student Union, and a player on Clearcut. I'm excited to meet you and chat about a paper or presentation!

Hello everyone! My name is Teresa (she/her), and I am a sophomore from San Jose, California. I am majoring in Music Education, and I am involved with the vocal and choral department here on campus; I sing with the Adelphian Concert Choir and Voci D’Amici, and I have participated in the Opera Theater program as well. Outside of music and class, I love to craft (yay, fiber arts!), go on hikes, and explore the Tacoma boba tea scene. I am also an avid reader, and I will devour any books, from cheesy romcoms to classic lit. I am so excited to be part of the CWL team, and I am looking forward to helping you all write and edit your papers and presentations!

Hi! My name is Natalie (she/her), and I hail from the great city of Portland, Oregon. I play saxophone and sing in a math-rock/midwest emo band called Slug Party. On a sunny day you might see me zoom by on rollerblades (but probably not because I’m faster than the speed of light)... I also enjoy embroidery and reading. I am a double major in history and English, and minoring in honors. I look forward to reading your writing!

Hi! My name is RJ (he/him). I’m from Tacoma, Washington. Outside of the CWL, you'll probably find me in the music building, as I tend to keep myself busy with wind/jazz repertory as a clarinetist and saxophonist. Otherwise, you'll find me at the library as a desk assistant, or on the air through KUPS 90.1 FM. At any given moment, you may find me picking up various neighborhood cats during my off-campus rounds. Excited to work with you!
