Dear Faculty and Staff,
As we begin this transition in Technology Services, I am pleased to welcome Ann Riley as Interim Associate Vice President for Technology Services at the University of Puget Sound.
Ann is a senior higher education technology leader and consultant with Moran Technology Consulting. She has served in several interim CIO and executive advisory roles at colleges and universities, helping institutions maintain operational continuity, assess and strengthen technology organizations, establish governance and priorities, and prepare for permanent leadership transitions.
Her experience spans administrative and academic technology, including infrastructure, information security, enterprise systems, project leadership, and organizational change. She has worked with institutions ranging from small private colleges to large public universities and systems, supporting technology strategy, IT governance, administrative-system implementations, business-process redesign, privacy and security, and organizational change.
Ann holds a Juris Doctor from Temple University Law School, a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Oklahoma.
As Ann begins her work at Puget Sound, her initial focus will be on getting to know the Technology Services team, understanding the systems and work already underway, and building relationships across the campus community. She will support the team in maintaining continuity in our technology services while also helping us advance important technology priorities during this transition.

My first priority is to listen, learn, and understand what is important to the university and to the Technology Services team. I’m looking forward to building relationships across campus, supporting the team, and helping ensure continuity while I learn more about Puget Sound and its priorities.”
Over the coming weeks, Ann will be meeting with colleagues across campus and learning more about the university, its technology environment, and the work and priorities of our community.
