Dear Campus Community,
Please note that Facilities Services has rescheduled the preventive maintenance work on the 4kV high voltage system, initially planned for May 19, 2023, to Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023. This maintenance work is crucial for the smooth functioning of the system and will require an 8-hour power shutdown of various buildings. However, facilities equipped with generators will have access to emergency power, including critical systems. During and after the outage, Facilities Services and the service contractor will be on-site to ensure everything runs smoothly.
This will affect the following buildings:
- Wheelock Student Center
- Copy Services
- Student Affairs House
- Expeditionary House
- Music Building
- Collins Memorial Library
- Warner Gym
- East side of Lawrence Street Houses
- Facilities Services Building
- Baker Stadium
- Greek Row Houses
- Harned & Thompson Halls
- Wyatt Hall
