Deputy Director of Media and Technology
The Deputy Director of Media and Technology (DDMT) will assist the Director of Medias and Technology Services (DMTS). They are responsible for making website edits, carrying out technology related initiatives, and supporting ASUPS’ media organizations.
- The Deputy Director of Media and Technology (DDMT) is a full fee-paying member of ASUPS.
- The DDMT is hired by the Vice President in consultation with the Director of Medias and Technology Services.
- The DDMT has the following powers and responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Medias and Technology Services, including but not limited to:
- Updating and maintaining the ASUPS website.
- Answering internal technology inquiries.
- Carrying out internal technology-related initiatives.
- Supporting the media organizations, including but not limited to:
- Attending weekly Student Media Board meetings as a non-voting guest.
- Recording minutes for weekly Student Media Board meetings.
- Answering general inquiries from media heads.
- Be accessible to the student body and Director of Medias and Technology Services through regular office hours, to total a minimum of three hours per week throughout the term.
- Meet weekly with the Director of Medias and Technology Services to provide necessary input and information.
- Meet with the President and Vice President when called upon to do so.
This position is paid a monthly stipend of $500
