What is your favorite Puget Sound tradition and why?

Orientation! Being an orientation leader is probably one of my favorite things I have ever been a part of. It is so fun to build a tight knit community while welcoming new students, and all of the immersive experiences are a blast!

What is your favorite Student Union Building meal/hack?

Here we go, can only be done between 10 and 11 am. I toast a sesame bagel, go get avocado and tomatoes from the sandwich station, and on my way back to my bagel, I get one slice of bacon. I grab lemon and cream cheese on my out. To assemble, I first spread the cream cheese, then the avocado on top, then tomatoes, squeeze lemon on top with salt and pepper. Batta bing batta boom.

In only one sentence, please describe what you value the most about your Puget Sound experience.

The Puget Sound education is one that has taught me to problem solve only by first understanding the root of the issue, through this I have learned to be both relentless in asking questions and cautious in assuming surface level presentations.

What is a passion that Puget Sound helped you further explore or find?

I am particularly interested  in the ways that maternity and family planning are addressed by the international community. Through the support of faculty, I am in the process of creating a class on this topic. I am super excited!

If you could be any fictional character from a movie or a book who would it be and why?

The Global Development Studies (GDS) Program offers an interdisciplinary minor that focuses on the transformations associated with development. Courses in the program allow students to explore the empirical, philosophical, and policy dimensions of development.

One of our most popular clubs, RDG is a student-led and student-choreographed dance group. They host two performances each year and are open to students of all skill levels.
