What has been your favorite academic experience at Puget Sound and why?

My Law and Ethics in the Business Environment course I am currently taking. It has opened my eyes to an entire field of studies and possible career path that I had not even considered before. Not to mention my professor is probably the coolest woman ever and going to her office hours is always the best.

In only one sentence, please describe what you value the most about your Puget Sound experience.

I value the relationships that I have made with other students: they are my best friends who both support me and challenge me.

What is the one song or album that best depicts your college experience thus far?

"Master Blaster" by Stevie Wonder. I can’t say why, but for some reason that is the one that stuck in my head

What is your favorite Puget Sound tradition and why?

Having served as an orientation leader and planning on continuing to for the rest of college, the orientation experience at Puget Sound is very special to me. You are introduced to a new place while also being introduced to those who will be there with you. You are thrown into both fun and challenging experiences that you may struggle through, but there are always people to catch you. Everyone wants you to have a good orientation experience, so the community aspect at Puget Sound during orientation is AMAZING and completely supportive.

Ella's Interests at Puget Sound

The Business Leadership Program (BLP) is a highly selective program blending top-level business instruction with applied learning, a cohort experience, and a mentorship program.

Greek Life provides opportunities for community, leadership, and service. Recruitment takes place in the spring, and first-year students can begin participating in the Greek system at that time.
