Spring Semester - Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm
No class will be held the week following a field session. In addition to technical skills covered, topics covered include: Leadership Styles; Avalanche Awareness; Leave No Trace Environmental Ethics; Group Development; Judgment & Decision Making; Communication; Risk Management; Crisis Management; Trip Planning, Navigation; Identity, Diversity & Inclusion.

Wilderness Medicine Training
Students selected for STAF104 will participate in a wilderness medicine course on campus following the capstone field session. The cost of the course will be covered by PSO for those students. Visit each course page linked below for more information. Students living on campus can extend their housing for this training.
