Specimen preparation- As always, our Collections Manager and skinners will be turning dead animals into museum specimens. Ask questions and get hands-on with his dissections and preparations! Specimen preparation will be located in room 297.
Live animals- Get up close and personal with some special guests from the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium!
- A representative from Scott Funeral Home will talk about the kinds of things we can learn from using bodies donated to science!
- Did you know that wolves help provide a vital food supply for scavengers? Wolf Haven, a nationally recognized wolf sanctuary, will be present once more to share about the importance of wolves to their habitat.
Trick or treat- Answer a question at each table and earn a piece of candy!
Kid's craft- Come and create your own Halloween mobile!
Costumes are encouraged!
This is a free, family-friendly, drop-in event.
