Faculty leading a study abroad program may be accompanied by a partner and/or children. However, it’s important for faculty to understand while on the program their priority is to the students on the program. The needs of an accompanying partner or children must not interfere with the faculty members’ ability to participate in and direct the program. Additionally, all costs associated with any accompanying partners or children and the responsibility of the faculty member.
