Emily Johnson

Operations Manager

Emily Johnson recently joined the staff of the School of Music as the Operations Manager in the summer of 2021. She is a Washington State native and is excited to be back in her home state working with an amazing group of colleagues and students.

Emily has a varied background that includes operations, recording, and general AV as well as some performance. She spent three seasons working as the Operations Manager for Music in the Mountains, a three-week classical music festival in Southwest Colorado. She was the Operations Manager for Audio Visual Management Solutions at their Bell Harbor location for a few months leading up to the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Emily also acted as the Operations Manager for the Adams State University Chamber Ensemble Program where she oversaw seven performing groups during her time as a student. She is excited to bring her love of music and operations together in her role at the School of Music.
