The Makerspace is an informal setting in the Collins Memorial Library that allows Puget Sound students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to make, create, collaborate, learn, and share. Makerspaces are defined by the makers who use them, but typically they provide the tools and space for individuals to explore, design, create, and modify physical objects in the name of art, research, or creativity. This activity credit course allows students to engage in ongoing creative projects associated with and connected to a regular academic course, under the guidance of a faculty member and the Makerspace staff.
