Camila Zager

Camila Zager, MA, is originally from the Philly area and is in the process of earning her doctorate at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, San Diego. Camila works with adults in individual and couples therapy using evidence-based interventions and is co-facilitator of two groups: Understanding Self and Others and Life Hacks.

Camila practices psychodynamic psychotherapy and integrates acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mentalization-based therapy (MBT), existential therapy, and dream analysis into her sessions. Camila is interested in learning about each person’s current and past experiences to holistically understand her patients. While Camila’s areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and identity exploration, she tailors her treatment approach to the unique goals and needs of each of her patients. She actively listens, develops collaborative relationships where her patients can feel supported and understood, and works at their pace to guide them toward a better understanding of themselves.

Having grown up in a multiethnic household, Camila is bilingual in Spanish and English and is familiar with Latin American and Jewish culture. In her free time, Camila enjoys hiking, playing tennis, reading, tending to her plants, journaling and collaging, and connecting with friends and family.
