The Deputy Director of Budget (DDB) is a full fee-paying member of ASUPS.
The DDB is hired by the Vice President in consultation with the Director of Business Services.
The DDB has the following powers and responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Business Services, including but not limited to:
Providing courteous and expeditious customer service to the student body and ASUPS Cabinet.
Assuming management responsibility for assigned budget-related activities, as directed by the Director of Business Services. This includes but is not limited to:
Monitoring the ASUPS budget.
Processing and retaining records for ASUPS organizational stipends.
Maintaining records of procurement cards.
Working with and providing all external auditors with information regarding financial transactions.
Reconciling ASUPS accounts with the financial records kept by each ASUPS organization.
Coordinating and developing the activities related to the preparation of the ASUPS’ annual budget.
Reviewing departmental stipends and developing internal stipend audits.
Participating in budget hearings to provide support to the Director of Business Services, when asked to do so.
Assisting in the development of the Budget Task Force presentation.
Monitoring, recording, and tracking club expenditure and revenue activity.
Providing adequate financial instruction for ASUPS organizations, on behalf of the Director of Business Services, when called upon to do so.
Tracking and maintaining an updated inventory of all ASUPS physical assets.
Observing the Financial Code.
Be accessible to the student body and Director of Business Services through regular office hours, to total a minimum of three hours per week throughout the term.
Meet weekly with the Director of Business Services to provide necessary input and information.
Meet with the President and Vice President when called upon to do so.

Overseeing ASUPS sponsored services, including but not limited to:
Monitoring and tracking the ASUPS vending machine and logging transactions into the ASUPS budget.
Processing disbursement requests and logging them into the ASUPS budget.
Handling deposit forms and communicating them to the Office of Finance.
Tracking and maintaining an updated inventory of all ASUPS physical assets.
Observing the Financial Code.
Be accessible to the student body and Director of Business Services through regular office hours, to total a minimum of three hours per week, throughout the term.
Meet weekly with the Director of Business Services to provide necessary input and information.
Meet with the President and Vice President when called upon to do so.

The DDMT is hired by the Vice President in consultation with the Director of Medias and Technology Services.
The DDMT has the following powers and responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Medias and Technology Services, including but not limited to:
Updating and maintaining the ASUPS website.
Answering internal technology inquiries.
Carrying out internal technology-related initiatives.
Supporting the media organizations, including but not limited to:
Attending weekly Student Media Board meetings as a non-voting guest.
Recording minutes for weekly Student Media Board meetings.
Answering general inquiries from media heads.
