What is your favorite place in Tacoma?

My favorite place in Tacoma is Point Defiance. It is a beautiful place to hike and hangout. My favorite thing to do in Point D is called the Five Mile Drive. It is a loop that is surrounded by beautiful trees and has several lookout points. I’ve traveled a lot and I believe it is one of the most beautiful sights I have seen.

What is a passion that Puget Sound helped you further explore or find?

A passion that Puget Sound has helped me find is playing Ultimate Frisbee. Before coming to college, I did not even know frisbee was a sport, but since coming to college, it has easily become one of my favorite pastimes.

What is the one song or album that best depicts your college experience thus far?

One song that best depicts my college experience thus far is "Dancing in the Moonlight." It has become the anthem for my friend group, and I don’t know anyone who can listen to the song without smiling. It’s a great, happy song that reminds me of how school makes me feel.

If you woke up one morning with a super power, what would it be and what would be the first thing you would do with this new power?

If I woke up one morning with a super power, I would want it to be teleportation. I would love to be able to travel everywhere easily and instantly.

Lucy's Interests at Puget Sound

Puget Sound’s women’s ultimate frisbee team, Clearcut, regularly competes at the D-III College Nationals. Participation is open to everyone, regardless of experience.

Greek Life provides opportunities for community, leadership, and service. Recruitment takes place in the spring, and first-year students can begin participating in the Greek system at that time
