What has been your favorite academic experience at Puget Sound and why?

I absolutely loved my Basics of Bioethics class. It opened up a whole string of new opportunities in terms of my studies at UPS and career options. My professor liked my final paper so much that she recommended I have it published in an undergraduate bioethics journal, which has been a really fun process to go through!

What is your favorite SUB meal/hack?

Scheduling fun meals to look forward to! My roommate and I would celebrate Curly Fry-Friday and Ice Cream Sunday-Monday every week.

What is one college moment/achievement you are the most proud of?

Having one of my papers published in a bioethics journal as a first-year student.

If you woke up one morning with a super power, what would it be and what would be the first thing you would do with this new power?

If I could have any super power I would be able to hold my breath for a really long time and to be able to withstand freezing temperatures. I basically want to be a seal. I would immediately go swim in the Sound and look for octopuses!

Lily's Interests at Puget Sound

Students in the Special Interdisciplinary Major work with a multi-disciplinary faculty committee to design a course of study that draws on the curricula of two or more departments.

One of our most popular clubs, RDG is a student-led and student-choreographed dance group. They host two performances each year and are open to students of all skill levels.
