What has been your favorite academic experience at Puget Sound and why?

My favorite academic experience at Puget Sound is the semester I took a seminar class about evolution and was able to go on a class field trip to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium!

What is your favorite Puget Sound tradition and why

Around midterms and finals week the school brings in a bunch of therapy dogs, which is always a fun break from the stress.

Where is your favorite on-campus study spot?

Any of the resource rooms in Thompson are my favorite place to study on campus! I love using the chalkboards in the resource rooms to work out problems or review for exams. I especially love studying in the math lounge because there is a Rummikub set that my friends and I will always play with when we need a study break!

What is your favorite SUB meal/hack

When they are serving chicken coconut curry soup I always get a scoop of rice from the Wok station and mix them together--it makes a great combo.

Catherine's Interests at Puget Sound

As an Orientation Leader, Catherine loves welcoming new students to campus and helping them get to know campus and Tacoma. Orientation includes on-campus sessions as well as three-day off-campus Immersive Experiences.

One of our most popular clubs, RDG is a student-led and student-choreographed dance group. They host two performances each year and are open to students of all skill levels.
