A newsletter for faculty and staff of the college
Open Line is produced by the Office of Communications as a service to our campus community. Our goal is to inform readers of the significant and interesting things happening on campus each week in a quick and easy-to-read way.
At the beginning of each semester, faculty, faculty emeriti, and staff email address are automatically added to our Open Line mailing list. The e-newsletter is sent out at the beginning of each week classes are in session during the academic year using e-communications service Emma.com. (We, and several departments across campus, use Emma to produce numerous Puget Sound online communications. Contact us if you have questions or would like to try Emma for your next campus e-newsletter.)
We understand that not all members of our community have regular access to a computer. Feel free to print and post each issue for those in your office or department who may not check their email each week. If that doesn't meet the needs of your area, please send a message to openline@pugetsound.edu or call x2673.
Share your department news, announcements, and noteworthy news
Submit your news and noteworthy items, event information, announcements, and story ideas to openline@pugetsound.edu. Open Line is published at the beginning of each week during the semester. It is not published during the summer, but special editions may be sent out to share important information with the campus community. During the academic year, submissions are due the Wednesday before publication and are edited for clarity and style. Please remember that your submission is for an online newsletter. Be brief. We are happy to link to your area or event Web page so readers can find more information.
