  • Windows Computers Slow To Login 11/21/2016

    Members of the campus community have reported that they’ve experienced difficulty logging into their Windows computers this morning. Symptoms include either being stuck at the “Welcome” or Ctrl Alt Delete screens. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to determine the cause of this issue as quickly as possible.

  • PeopleSoft Campus and Portal Intermittently Unavailable Saturday, November 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. [Complete]

    Update complete as of 9:35am on November 19, 2016.

    Due to scheduled maintenance, access to PeopleSoft Campus and Portal will be intermittent on Saturday, November 19th starting at 8:00 a.m. for a PeopleSoft update.

    We will post an update when the work is completed. Thank you for your patience while we conduct this necessary work!

  • Cascade Web Forms Not Loading Through vDesk 11/14/2016 [Resolved]

  • Campus Systems Unavailable Due to Scheduled Maintenance 11/13/2016 [completed]

    [update 11/13/2016 10:00 a.m.] Our scheduled production server patch maintenance has been completed successfully.​​

    [original] Production server patch maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, November 13, from 3:00 a.m. until noon. During this time, all campus systems will be intermittently or entirely unavailable. Affected services include the university website, myPugetSound, PeopleSoft, Cascade, Moodle, campus file servers, and Exchange (email and calendar). An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.

    Technology Services schedules regular maintenance windows, generally on the second Sunday of every month, to ensure a secure, reliable computing environment. Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work!

  • Network Maintenance – McIntyre/Wheelock [COMPLETE]

    Network Services has restored network functionality to all campus buildings.

    UPDATE 11/3/2016 ~5:00am

    Network Services is aware of a partial campus outage and working toward resolving the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.


    Networking will be replacing some equipment between 4am and 6am on November 3rd, 2016.  This work will cause intermittent network outages including data, wireless and phones.

    Buildings to be impacted:  Wheelock and McIntyre.

    Wheelock is also a main network distribution point and the following buildings/homes and will also be effected:

    • Administrative/Staff Buildings: PCS, Security, Communications, Kittredge, Ceramics, Student Diversity, Faculty, SDC, SDJ
    • Student Homes:  All student homes on Lawrence and east of Lawrence

    We appreciate your for your patience as we work to improve network reliability.
