[Original post] Some members of the campus community have reported that they are unable to launch vDesk applications from off-campus. They receive the error message “an error occurred while making the requested connection.” Access to vDesk from on-campus is not affected. We appreciate your patience as we investigate this issue, and apologize for the inconvenience.
[Updated 07/13/2014 11:21 a.m.] Online Services have been brought back on line, and Maintenance has been completed.
[Original]Due to scheduled maintenance, all production servers and services, including PeopleSoft, Cascade, email, vDesk, Moodle, and the university website, will be intermittently or entirely unavailable between 3:00 a.m. and noon on Sunday, July 13. An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.

Some members of the campus community have experienced difficulty using their Puget Sound account to login to their campus computers and Outlook Web Access (Webmail). This appears to be due to the fact that their account is locked due to a number of incorrect authentication attempts. We are investigating the source of this issue, and apologize for the inconvenience.
