  • vDesk applications unavailable from off-campus 7/13/2014 [Resolved]

    [Updated 7/15/2014 2:22 pm] Off-campus access to vDesk was restored around 7:30 am this morning. Thank you for your patience!

    [Original post] Some members of the campus community have reported that they are unable to launch vDesk applications from off-campus. They receive the error message “an error occurred while making the requested connection.” Access to vDesk from on-campus is not affected. We appreciate your patience as we investigate this issue, and apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Online Services Unavailable Due to Maintenance 7/13/2014 [Completed]

    [Updated 07/13/2014 11:21 a.m.]  Online Services have been brought back on line, and Maintenance has been completed.

    [Original]Due to scheduled maintenance, all production servers and services, including PeopleSoft, Cascade, email, vDesk, Moodle, and the university website, will be intermittently or entirely unavailable between 3:00 a.m. and noon on Sunday, July 13. An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.

    Technology Services schedules regular maintenance windows on the second Sunday of every month to ensure a secure, reliable computing environment. Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work!

  • Account authentication issues 7/7/2014

    Some members of the campus community have experienced difficulty using their Puget Sound account to login to their campus computers and Outlook Web Access (Webmail). This appears to be due to the fact that their account is locked due to a number of incorrect authentication attempts. We are investigating the source of this issue, and apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Login prompt in browser 7/2/2014

    Some members of the campus community are seeing a login screen in their browser:

    This screen is part of our campus network security system, and you should be able to authenticate with your Puget Sound username and password. We are investigating why this prompt is occurring.   • Moodle system temporarily down

    [Original] The Moodle server is temporarily down.  The TS Server team is working to resolve this issue, and an update will be posted once the system is back up and online.

  • Moodle upgrade and outage 6/28/2014

    Moodle will be unavailable due to a planned system upgrade beginning at 12 pm on Saturday, June 28. We anticipate that it will be available for use again on Monday, June 30 at 12 pm.
