[Original Post] Students have reported intermittent issues printing to lab printers. In some cases, printers are not appearing as available in print menu options from vDesk applications. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are investigating this issue to determine the root cause. We have received reports that some individuals in Wyatt have been unable to load external websites (websites that aren’t hosted here on campus). They are able to reach internal (pugetsound.edu) websites without issue. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
[Updated 5:36 a.m., 9/17] The icampus internet returned to service at about 5:20 a.m. Update work is complete. We were successful in increasing the bandwidth on the connection to 5 Gbps.
[Original] The campus internet connection will be unavailable from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, 9/17 as we continue work begun last Friday morning (see http://blogs.pugetsound.edu/tsmaintenance/?p=3503) to upgrade bandwidth from 1 to 5 Gbps.
[Update 6:27 a.m., 9/11/2015] Internet service was restored a 6:04 a.m. after an outage of 1 hour, 50 minutes. Due to issues with some non-Puget Sound equipment, the upgrade was cancelled, and Puget Sound’s internet bandwidth remains at 1 Gbps.
[Original] Campus internet service will be unavailable from 4-5 a.m. the morning of Friday, 9/11/2015 as we upgrade service from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps. Service may also be sporadic from 5-6 a.m. The internet will resume normal operation by 6 a.m.

[Update 9/13/2015 10:35 AM] Our scheduled production server patch maintenance has been completed successfully.
[Original] Production server patch maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, from 3:00 a.m. until noon. During this time, all campus systems will be intermittently or entirely unavailable. Affected services include the university website, myPugetSound, PeopleSoft, Cascade, Moodle, campus file servers, and Exchange (email and calendar). An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.
Technology Services schedules regular maintenance windows generally on the second Sunday of every month to ensure a secure, reliable computing environment. Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work!
[Update 9/5] The upgrade was completed successfully and both PeopleSoft Campus and myPugetSound are now available for use.
[Original] This is a reminder that PeopleSoft Campus and myPugetSound will be entirely unavailable between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5th in order to complete an upgrade to PeopleTools 8.54 and apply a new campus bundle. Please note that PeopleSoft Human Resources and PeopleSoft Financials will be unaffected and can still be accessed through Cascade.
