A regular maintenance window generally takes place the second Sunday of every month from 3:00 a.m. to noon.
Monthly maintenance windows alternate between production servers and pre-production servers. Maintenance windows for prodution servers can impact the availability of these and other services:
General users of university services should not experience any impact during maintenance windows for pre-production servers (development and test).
[update 08/07/2016 12:25 p.m.] Patching has been completed. There’s a sign-in issue with cascade-test that will be resolved at a later time.
[original] Pre-Production Server Patch Maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, 08/07/2016, from 8 am. to 5 pm. This should NOT affect any production services such as email, individual and departmental file shares, database applications, or web services (Moodle, vDesk, etc.).
