First-Week FAQ

To begin spring semester safely, we have a number of protocols in place. Highlights include:

  • Remote classes and mobile-only dining options this week, as we complete our return-to-campus testing protocols
  • Required boosters for all campus members as soon as you are eligible
  • Required masks—KN95, N95, or three-ply surgical/medical-grade masks recommended; KN95 or N95 required if you’re unvaccinated

Updated Guidance for Spring Semester

Given the current status of the pandemic, we will implement additional protocols during this temporary period of high transmission of the COVID-19. Our goal is to have everyone return to campus on or before Tuesday, Jan. 18 so that we can complete our COVID-19 testing as a community, quarantine or isolate as needed, and resume normal activity on campus as quickly as possible. The new guidance outlines temporary operational changes, safety protocols and reminders, and new isolation and quarantine guidance.

Booster Shot Guidance for Spring

To continue to protect the health of the campus community, COVID-19 booster shots are required for all campus members prior to returning to campus following winter break or as soon as eligibility allows. Students should submit proof of booster vaccination to Counseling, Health, and Wellness Services. Look for the Enter My COVID-19 Vaccine Information link and upload an image of your booster vaccine card.
