Student Involvement & Programs consists of six departments all dedicated to supporting Loggers as they find their connections, experience personal growth, and impact the greater world. Whether it be leadership development, learning outdoor skills, or finding joy at a musical performance, SI&P provides many of the activities and programs that enrich the day to day experience of our students. Come join us as we grow a campus community that connects you to people, passion, and play.
The home of civic engagement, volunteering, social justice education, and student leadership at the University of Puget Sound.
The Greek community has been a part of the University of Puget Sound for over 80 years. Members participate in activities that include academic organizations, student government, clubs and organizations, athletics, social projects, and many others, including working within the Tacoma community.
Puget Sound Outdoors (PSO) provides student-powered adventure experiences to promote health and wellness through connection with each other and the environment.
Wheelock Student Center, commonly referred to as “the SUB,” is the heart of Puget Sound student life. Located on the east side of campus, the SUB is home to student resources such as ASUPS (student government), the Information Center, the dining hall, Diversions Café, and The Cellar, among others.
Performing arts, fascinating lectures, fun films, and music ranging from cool jazz to hot rock are but a few of the activities that beckon to our audiences.
A major promoter of student engagement is Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound, or ASUPS (“Ay-sups”), the student body’s elected government.
