Passages

When new students first learn about the agenda of Passages—the outdoor adventure phase of Puget Sound's orientation program—reactions range from "I can’t wait!" to "You've got to be kidding!" One thing's for certain, though: You'll make new discoveries about yourself during Passages, whether you're an expert hiker or someone who prefers to find adventure between the covers of a novel. The amazing vistas of the Pacific Northwest are the setting for activities that include activities at or near basecamp on Hood Canal.  You can also sign up for overnight-canoeing, or backpacking trips which take you out of camp for 1-3 nights.
