UPDATE - 5:30 p.m. Sunday, August 23
Due to planned networking updates which took longer than expected email and systems using myPugetSound were down for longer than planned. As of 5:30pm PST you can login and look at your Orientation schedule.  Due to these outages we will respond to any questions as quickly as we can.

  • Individual Orientation schedules: You will find your personal schedule in your myPugetSound portal under Campus Operations
  • As of Sunday morning 8-22 Orientation schedules have been republished with the video links or directions other meetings.
  • Additional you will need to disable pop-up blockers for some some pages to work in myPugetSound. More information about customizing pop-up blockers

In your first Bookends session, you will meet your faculty leader and your classmates for the next four days. Link to the reader
2–3 p.m. Telling Your Puget Sound Story Through ePortfolio
From classes to internships, and from clubs to undergraduate research, Puget Sound students engage in experiences in the classroom, the community, and around the world. You will be primed to start your ePortfolio, upload your Bookends paper, and write the first chapter of your Puget Sound story in your Sounding Board ePortfolio as required for Bookends and Matriculation.
3–6 p.m. School of Music Ensemble Placements

"Beer Goggles" to Blackouts, "the Munchies" to Memory Effects: The Science of Alcohol and Marijuana
Dr. Jason Kilmer will discuss the myths about drugs and alcohol on college campuses.

Orientation Group Meeting

Your Orientation group will be the first group you meet outside of classes and will be a group to connect with during Orientation and throughout the first semester. Your group will be led by two student leaders who are engaged across campus.
