Mihaela Schneider, MA (she/her/hers)
Mihaela is a CHWS doctoral intern completing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, where she also received a MA in Psychology. Mihaela worked as a therapist in community and college mental health settings, where she provided individual and group therapy using culturally-informed treatments anchored in cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, attachment-focused, and humanistic-existential theoretical frameworks. She has an interest in the intersection of creativity, contemplative practices and mental wellness in young adults, integrative mental health, ecopshychology, and health psychology. Mihaela believes that therapy creates a space where healing can happen in the relationship with self and another, and is committed to co-creating with each client a path to their goals. In her personal life, Mihaela finds inspiration in her family, joy among people, calm among trees, gratitude in having an electric bike uphill, and comic relief in her cats Tabouli and Tahini.
