Campus Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is open during this time of COVID-19.

The Food Pantry is intended to serve campus community members who are experiencing financial and food insecurity, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

Location: The food pantry is located in the Student Diversity Center at 3216 N. 13th St. (the light blue house across the street from the Center for Student Support/Yellow House). Take what you need and simply log the items on the clipboard so that we can replenish the inventory. No identifying information is required.

Hours: Open Monday through Sunday, 8am – 10pm.

Note: The SDC, which houses the Food Pantry, is only accessible with your campus ID. Swipe in to the back door of the building.

As a campus community, we strive to promote the well-being and success of all members of our Puget Sound community (students, staff, and faculty). To assist those struggling with food insecurities and/or lack of consistent access to nutritious and/or affordable foods, the Center for Student Support hosts an on-campus food pantry. The pantry also stocks a number of toiletries and hygienic products. We respect the identities and backgrounds of all members on this campus and we strive to make this food pantry a welcoming place for all who need its contents. We invite you to visit the food pantry during the hours listed above as needed.

Please email Andy Cornell acornell@pugetsound.edu if you have questions or comments -- or feel free to use the suggestions/question box within the pantry.

If you would like to donate nonperishable items to the pantry, please use the general donations box located on the porch of the Center for Student Support. Our staff monitors the donation box and the food pantry regularly.
