Applying for Housing as a Rising Junior/Senior

To select housing for the 2018-2019 school year there are three applications based on your interest:

Students who would like to pick their room assignment individually may do so via self-service in myPugetSound. Self-service will be avail to students based on their class standing:

  • February 15: Rising Seniors
  • February 16: Rising Juniors
  • March 20: Rising Sophomores

 

Homestead Application

The Homestead Application should be used for:

  1. individuals who wish to return to their same room next year, OR
  2. a group of students that wants to return to the space of one of the group members

For example, a student who lives in a Thomas flat would like to pull in 5 friends to the same flat next year should complete the Homestead Application. If a group of friends would like to live in a Thomas flat, however none of the group members lives in Thomas currently, the group should submit one Upper Division Group Application.

The Homestead Application deadline is December 1. Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a space available basis. The Homestead Application will not be available after February 1. Once approved, all applicants will need to sign the Housing Contract within one week to secure their space.

 

Upper Division Group Application

Rising juniors and seniors who want to live as a group in a Thomas Hall flat, Trimble Hall suite, or campus house can apply to select a space before rising sophomore groups. Groups of Juniors and Seniors can apply using the Upper Division Group Application. Residence Life will begin review of applications December 1, and approve applications on a space-available first-come, first-serve basis. 

Once approved, all members of the group will need to sign the Housing Contract withing one week to secure their space.
