ADO Release Time Release Time applications for both spring and fall terms are due February 1. If yes, IRB or IACUC approval must be obtained before beginning research. Consult the university's website for IRB and IACUC approval requirements. * No Yes Do you want to be considered for a Civic Scholarship unit? Please consult the Civic Scholarship Release Time guidelines to assess if your work might apply. Checking 'yes' does not exclude one from consideration for a general release time unit. * No Yes I agree to provide my department chair or program director a written report as specified in the Release Time guidelines within 30 days of the completing of the semester in which the released time is provided. I also agree to obtain IRB or IACUC approval before beginning research involving human participants or animals. * I agree You may attach a memo from the department chair or program director that recommends approval and indicates whether or not a replacement instructor will be required for the course from which the applicant is released. The chair or director should also indicate agreement to assess professionally the value of the work and extent to which the purpose of the grant has been met, upon completion of the released time semester.
