The Children's Water Festival is an annual event that brings nearly 700 Pierce County fifth-graders to the University of Puget Sound campus for a day of learning about water quality and conservation. Students will visit various stations around campus as they learn from technical experts and educators on a range of water-related topics.
Coordinated by the Pierce Conservation District, this event relies on more than 120 volunteers from local organizations and the community to bring learning to life for the students. University of Puget Sound has hosted the event, which gives students the experience of visiting a university campus and all it has to offer, since 2016.
