4–5 p.m. Panel Presentation: Artists Books as Catalysts for Social Change
Collins Memorial Library, Room 020

Laura Russell and MalPina Chan will share insights about the curatorial process. Amy Ryken will discuss her book Are you a Boy or A Girl? Deborah Greenwood and Lucia Harrison will discuss their collaborative work The Unraveling of Political Discourse. We invite everyone to share in the conversation about the power of artists’ books to invite social change. Examples of books from the Collins Memorial Library collection will be on display.

5–7 p.m. Opening Reception for the Book Power Redux exhibit at Collins Memorial Library in the LINK.

In addition to the Book Power Redux opening, there will be two other art events on University of Puget Sound campus that you are invited to attend: Brandywine Print Workshop Show: powerful prints from contemporary artists reflecting our social diversity on display in the Collins Memorial Library, Pacific Northwest Room. And works by artist Marita Dingus will be on display in Kittredge Gallery.
