Overview of Policy and Procedure: Prohibiting Sex-Based Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct

Although all employees are required to take the Preventing Sexual Harassment module when they are first hired, this class will cover the Puget Sound policy and procedure including how they were created, what is expected of you as a Responsible Employee, how to provide support to students and colleagues reporting to you, when/how to report to the Puget Sound Title IX/Equal Opportunity Officer, and what happens after a report is received.

Course Topics: Puget Sound Policy Prohibiting Sex-Based Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct

Facilitator: Sandra Braedt, PHR, SHRM-CP, Title IX Coordinator and Equal Opportunity Officer

Audience: Responsible Employees—includes all Faculty and staff as well as some student employees (ask your supervisor if you are considered a Responsible Employee)

Pre-work: not required, but prefer a review of the Policy and Procedure for familiarity and to prepare any questions you may have.
