Tickets Required

Join the Symphony Tacoma string quintet for this concert to learn what makes the string family truly unique. The Great String Thing-a-Machine concert includes popular classical pieces and children's tunes the whole family will enjoy. The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Join us an hour before the concert at 1:30 p.m. for our instrument "Petting Zoo" and have the opportunity to touch and see the musical instruments up close.

The University of Puget Sound Community Music Department is pleased to partner with Symphony Tacoma and Ted Brown Music to present the Mini Maestros Concert Series for young children ages 2–8 years old. With curriculum prepared by early childhood learning experts, these 45-minute concerts give young audience members an interactive opportunity to learn about the different instruments of the orchestra.

Tickets may be purchased through the Symphony Tacoma website at symphonytacoma.org. Remaining available tickets will be sold at the door. The Community Music Department is a year round music program offering music lessons and classes on the University of Puget Sound campus for community members of all ages.
