Guest Lecture: "Dimmi come mangi, Art, Science, and Performance in Renaissance Italian Cooking," by Michaelangelo Zaccarello, Univ. of Verona

Michelangelo Zaccarello is associate professor of Italian Philology at University of Verona, and co-director of Centro internazionale per lo studio e la didattica dell'italiano e dei dialetti. He has previously taught at University College, Dublin, and Oxford University and has been a visiting lecturer at many universities in the United States, Europe, and Japan. He has published 12 books, including REPERTA. Indagini, recuperi, ritrovamenti di letteratura italiana antica (2008) and numerous articles on Renaissance authors, Dante and early Italian texts. Zaccarello is the winner of many grants and awards, including Editor's Prize for best essay published in Textual Cultures (2009-2010), and a Fulbright Research Scholarship at University of Indiana.
