Associate Director/Medical Coordinator and Physician Assistant
Libby graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 and then went on to gain her Master’s degree from the University of Washington in 2005. She worked in neurosurgery as an ICU nurse before starting her work in family practice. Since then, she has worked in urban and rural settings, caring for people throughout the lifespan. She volunteered in Thailand for 2 years with the Akha hill tribe people, teaching health promotion and disease prevention. There she fell in love with the Akha people, studied the language, and enjoyed the rich culture (and food!) of the hill tribe and Thai people.
Over the past five+ years, she has found the joy of working with college students, encouraging personal growth and self-care during these formative years. Libby has developed a special interest in a body-positive approach to life and finds ways healthy ways to cope with stress.
Libby loves the outdoors, enjoys swimming in lakes, looking at clouds, and cooking. You also may find her chasing her two children or dog down the street on the weekend.
