The Visiting Scholars program brings international scholars to the university every year. While in residence, Visiting Scholars pursue academic research and contribute to the intellectual life of the campus community. Generally, our Visiting Scholars are professors from outside of the U.S. who desire to spend one or two semesters at our school.
Our Visiting Scholars receive:
- a campus mailbox, access to the library and a university e-mail account.
- office space - if it is available - is provided to Visiting Scholars by the departments with which they are associated; individualized research assistance from library staff members;
- invitations to participate in such events as faculty colloquiums and luncheons;
For the initial application, we require a current resume and a statement of your research project. If you are accepted, there are further forms which must be submitted to the university. Please contact Allyson Lindsley for more information.
