Human Resources has arranged some retirement planning resource sessions for staff members who are eligible to participate in the 2023 Staff Retirement Incentive Program (SRIP):
- On Monday, March 6, Human Resources will present an information session about the program from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Wheelock Student Center Murray Board Room. No pre-registration is required.
- On Wednesday and Thursday, March 8 and 9, our retirement plan record-keeper TIAA will be on campus.
- From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, TIAA representative Jason Casey will be available for individual in-person appointments. These appointments are reserved for SRIP-eligible staff members. Jason can help you answer these and other retirement questions:
- Are you on track for retirement?
- How do you leverage different retirement income sources to maximize your savings?
- Beyond Social Security, do you have enough lifetime income to cover your retirement expenses?
- How will the retirement incentive package being offered under the SRIP factor into your retirement planning?

- On Wednesday, March 8, TIAA will also offer an in-person presentation titled “Write Your Next Chapter: 5 Steps for Planning Your Retirement.” This program is reserved for SRIP-eligible staff members. This workshop takes you through five steps of planning your upcoming retirement, including estimating retirement expenses, closing any income gap and understanding key milestones that can impact your retirement finances.
