SHARE A MEMORY

Class of 1974

Can you believe that it has been 45 years since your time at Puget Sound? No doubt the memories you cherish make it feel like yesterday!

This June, join fellow Loggers from your Puget Sound days for Summer Reunion Weekend 2019!

What are some of your favorite memories?

"On sunny days going to Point Definace Park with friends and throwing frisbee's.  Football games at the stadium.  Deep sea fishing trips with fellow Gamma Phi's.  Special times with my sorority sisters...meaningful conversations." - Linda (Branson) Osborn '74

"Meeting other students.  The give and take in the classroom." - Jim Catalinich '74, JD '82

"Social hour at the sub between classes.  Climbing the tree outside Jones Hall, balloon water fights on a nice day." - Theo Shreve-Russell '74

Who were your favorite Puget Sound faculty and/or staff?

"Ms Kratsburg was my nutrition instructor, and she really cared about all of her students. I have very fond memories of her at UPS." - Jean (Ortkiese) Dible '74

"David Smith...History Dept.  I was a history major, and as a lifelong anglophile, I thought David was a fascinating person.  There are so many things I don't recall of those days, but oddly enough, I remember David's doctoral thesis was on the Home State (police dept.) in England in the late 19th century.  His passion for history was infectious." - Michael Morse '74

"Craig Gunter,  preparation, high expectations, humor.  Joe Peyton, patience, dedication to UPS, personal encouragement, deportment expectations for student-athletes." - Jim Catalinich '74, JD '82
