Sara Shapiro teaches courses in basic skills and physical agents in rehabilitaiton, and is a clinical instructor in the on-site pediatric clinic. Prior to joining Puget Sound in 2012, she taught in the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy in San Francisco, where she was a faculty member from 1983 until 2009. She completed a postgraduate fellowship in pediatrics practice, and is certified in NDT, the Brazelton, the NDT Baby Course, and Infant Movement Assessment in preterms. Shapiro is the author of "Electrical Currents" chapter in Physical Agents in Rehabilitation, 4th Edition, M. Cameron, ed.
