Kristin Johnson: Teaching and Research

I have taught in the Science, Technology and Society Program at Puget Sound since 2006. As an historian of science, I teach a range of courses on the history of the life sciences and the relationship between science and religion (LIST OF COURSES). My research focuses on the history of the naturalist tradition and, most recently, the relationship between science and theodicy (LIST OF PUBLICATIONS). I have combined my research and teaching in two recent projects, posted above for students in STS 370 Science and Religion, STS 366 History of Medicine, and STS 330 Evolution and Society since Darwin.
